Your sustainable dream life
is closer than you think.

A life where you live your values. Where you power your home with renewable energy, grow food on your own property, heal the land, and feel secure & self-sufficient.

You’re beyond ready to break free from your expensive home and your dull 9-5 so you can make this happen.

You know it’s possible, because you’ve seen other people do it–those brave souls who took the leap for a life of homesteading, permaculture, off-grid living, and adventure.

They make it look so easy, but your spidey sense tells you this is no walk in the park.

You’re willing to do the hard work and put some serious cash into this dream, but you have to be sure that you’re on the right path.

Your practical mind craves a roadmap to success.

If you’re going to invest in education, you need to be sure that you’ll make your money back.

If only there was a way to side-step all that trial-and-error, financial heartbreak, and unnecessary labour so you could fast-track your sustainable life…

You need a coach to guide this next step in your life

But not just anyone –someone who actually lives the life you desire.

Someone who's already been through the trial-and-error of sustainable living, who’ll help you avoid wrong-turns and expensive mistakes.

Someone who’ll give you hands-on training and keep you accountable.

Someone who’s honest and isn’t going to sugarcoat the road ahead.

Hi, I’m Kenton!

I’m a passionate educator, a certified permaculture instructor, and an industry expert for sustainable living.

I’ve happily poured the last 14 years of my life into preparing Attainable Sustainable Academy and my flagship course–The Sustainable Home & Property.

My story dates back to my days as a highschool art teacher in 2010. My students were bored, and so was I. I liked the “teaching” part, but not the material.

I was yearning to teach my students real-life skills.

One evening, I stumbled upon a free permaculture course. And it blew my mind.

I had a hunch that my students would find this material more interesting than those dry art history lectures.

So I started a lunch-hour sustainability club where I taught students about composting, soil health, edible forests, and more. It was a total hit!

But I was hungry for more.

When my teaching contract ended, I flew to Australia (the birthplace of permaculture) and I became a certified permaculture instructor under Geoff Lawton.

After that, I spent 2 years travelling across Australia and Canada, consulting private clients and government bodies on how to design properties, run educational programs, and grow low-maintenance edible forests.

Then, I went to Barbados to start a permaculture school! (Rough life eh?). Along the way, I worked with the Government, the United Nations, and trained 100+ permaculture designers.

I finally settled down (sort of) in Edmonton, Alberta in 2014. For the next year and a half, I built my very own efficient tiny home. It’s allowed me to drastically reduce my environmental impact, eliminate my debt, and live in nature.

I wanted more people to get the same incredible education I got so they could live a life of freedom.

For more than a decade, I have taught courses across North America, designed dozens of edible and abundant landscapes, and consulted on projects of every size - from urban homesteads to farms and retreat centers.

Now, I’m making a worldwide training network for teachers and students to learn everything about sustainable living–from edible forests, to efficient homes, to off-grid living.

I’m on a mission to create an army of regenerative rebels, healing the planet one property at a time.

I’m incredibly excited to help you create your own personalized roadmap to a joyful, sustainable life!

Cheers,
Kenton Zerbin

We are drowning in information...
...and starving for wisdom.

If you want to buy property, plant an edible forest, or live off-grid the information’s out there.

All it takes is a trip to the library or an internet search.

But this is risky...Why?
Because that sea of information without wisdom (how to apply it!) can lead you astray.

For example - how to find the right property!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched enthusiast property owners fail because they bought the wrong piece of land.

They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars buying a property to start their dream project… Only to realize the property:

-->Was located in a fire or flood sector
-->Had poor sun, soil, or water
-->Had restrictions preventing them from doing what they wanted on the property

The sad reality is, so many things can go wrong when buying land.

That’s why I teach you how to find the right property in the first section of my course. I believe it’s the single-most important thing to get right on your sustainable living dream.

Your edible forest, off-grid house, or homesteading dream isn’t possible without a decent property.

Other courses in this niche skip straight to the glamourous side of edible forests, off-grid living, and homesteading. But I go deep into this because I truly want you to succeed.

I’m uniquely qualified to help you get the right property because I’ve worked with hundreds of clients all over the world on a variety of different properties in different climates.

I’ve experienced first-hand how some properties didn’t take to edible forests the way others did. Even if they were picturesque and lush.

Finding the right property alone is insanely valuable–it could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.

But it doesn’t stop there–in fact, that’s just where it begins.

In The Sustainable Home & Property Course, I teach you how to design a low-maintenance edible forest, live off-grid comfortably, and become self-sufficient through live group coaching calls, hands-on projects, accountability, and engaging video lectures.

At the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a personalized roadmap to your badass sustainable life.

Even if you’re a total newbie at permaculture, off-grid living, and sustainability, you’ll never feel overwhelmed. I’ll walk you through the whole process step-by-step.

Whats Inside?

The Sustainable Home & Property Program

Over the course of 12 weeks, we dive into everything you need to buy, design, and start your property. Week-by-week and step-by-step gain the knowledge, the wisdom, and the confidence to make your dream property a reality.

Week 1 - Property Basics

In the first week of the course, become your very own permaculture designer. See your world with new lens so you can spot potential in ANY property and understand how to make it come to fruitition (pun intended!).

Week 2 - Mapping

Learn to make maps so you can wisely work with your land. Harmonize with the sun, wind, and water. Learn how to survey  solutions, see your land with a godlike view, and make decisions like a general.

Week 3 - Water

Learn how to become ridiculously efficient with water, and make it work for you. You’ll learn how to capture water from roof, land, and your house. Use your water 6 times instead of paying 6 times!

Week 4 - Home

No regenerative rebel wants to live in a “normie” house! Learn how to make a super home that is efficient, resilient, and cozy, no matter where you live. We cover it all – from design and construction to renovation solutions.

Week 5 - Utilities

Understand how the guts of your house work and how to make it even better. We cover water, power, heat, and waste, then how to back-up each system so you have peace of mind, security, and proud comfort.

Week 6 - Annual Food

Learn the basics to grow your own food including a crash course in botany, gardening, and more. Get vital tips and a fascinating history lesson how both gardens and civilizations flourish or collapse.

Week 7 - Perennial Food

This week, you’ll learn about perennial food systems–food that grows back every year on its own. Perennials are the hero of any permaculture system because they require less work and maintenance than annuals. You’ll also learn about wild food foraging and hunting.

Week 8 - Black Gold

Ditch chemical fertilizer for good! Learn how to turn ANY kind of organic “waste” into “black gold”. Create home composting systems that produces nutrient-rich soil so you can grow nutritious fruit & veg organically. (You dont HAVE to compost your poop but I’ll teach you. )

Week 9 - Animals

Birds, insects, and animals aren’t pests–they’re essential! Learn how to attract animals to pollinate, pest control, and fertilize. You’ll learn how to create bat and bird houses, how to attract bees, how to create “bug hotels”, and how to keep chickens, and even design larger animals into your property.

Week 10 - Community

Community can help you divide the workload, share the abundance, and create resilience & emergency preparedness. It can also boost your mental health. Learn the value of community, strategies for strengthening community, and models for creating one.

Week 11 - Surprise

This week, you get a live masterclass with a surprise guest speaker on a topic chosen by your group. You’ll also get a chance to ask questions during the bonus Q&A session at the end.

Week 12 - Graduation

You did it! This week, you graduate and get your certificate of completion. You’ll tie everything together that you’ve learned into an actionable plan so you can bring your dream to reality. You’ll set realistic goals, learn tips, & network.

Why I Created The Program

A lot of sustainably-conscious people want to live according to their values and feel proud of their impact. But modern life makes it near-impossible...

But there’s another way. I’m living proof.

I live debt-free in an off-grid house I built. I grow my own food. I work by choice, not necessity. I invest in myself, helping others, and travel.

You can have my life, too.

I created The Sustainable Home & Property Program because too many people want to live sustainably, but don’t know where to start.

Permaculture Course
“We now have what we need to start our 53-acre retreat. Kenton is a patient teacher and I'm so grateful for his expert help. I highly recommend working with him.”

Lifestyle Results & Benefits

If you follow my teachings and do the hard work, you can:

The value of this program is $11,550.

I’ve invested over a decade of my life building my expertise in permaculture, off-grid living, and sustainability. My expertise draws from getting my permaculture certificate in Australia, to consulting hundreds of private clients & government bodies, to building my own off-grid house.

If it weren’t for my course, the only other way you’d get access to me would be to hire me as a consultant at $500/hr. But I didn’t want you to completely blow your whole budget on my consulting services.

I’m not going to charge you $11,550 because that would be absurd.

I’m not even going to charge you $7500, or $5000, or $2500…

I’m only going to charge you $1497 for my course when you enroll today.

That’s a massive deal considering you’ll save tens, or even hundreds, of thousands of dollars in the long run when you follow my step-by-step teachings.

I’m charging this low price because I’m on a mission to create an army of regenerative rebels, healing the planet one property at a time.

We need more people healing the land, being self-sufficient, and actually living their lives. The planet depends on it.

When you enroll today, you get $11,550 worth of value for a fraction of the price.

The doors are closing on [X date] at [X time] because we’ll all be learning together at the same pace, just like a real-life classroom.

But I’m not sure when (or even if) I’ll be running this course again.

This is your chance to finally create the sustainable life of your dreams.
“This course gave me the tools (and kick in the butt) for my husband and I to start our farm. We now raise several kinds of animals, have two ponds, and practice sustainable woodlot management. We have more organic food than we could ever eat, a regenerative business, and lifestyle we are proud of.”

What you get when you enroll:

Plus, all these incredible bonuses when you enroll now:

“This course gives you a lot of practical knowledge in a short period of time. It puts everything together in a way internet research never could. And you meet a bunch of great people!”

I don’t really want to give 5 stars, because that signifies perfection, but I am! Kenton is passionate, engaging, and easy to follow. Thank you for stoking what has smouldered in my mind for quite a while now.

A Pretty Damn Good Time

In the face of uncertain times, I saw the need to change my life, so I took Kenton's course. I learned things you didn't even know you needed to know for my house design, utilities... even legalities! Add in Kenton's sense of humor, his wealth of knowledge, and abundant passion, and you got yourself a pretty damn good time!! I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Life-changing...

I first took Kenton's workshops on edible landscaping. They were informative, inspiring, and honestly, life-changing. Then I designed my own 100% edible landscape then turned my design into reality. His courses literally changed my life.

A: I got my permaculture design certificate in Australia under Geoff Lawton, a heavyweight in the permaculture world (and HE studied under Bill Mollison, the guy who started permaculture!). After that, I started a permaculture school in Barbados, where I trained over 100 permaculture designers. I’ve since done tons of consulting for private clients and government bodies, and I’ve personally mentored hundreds of people. When it comes to off-grid living, I draw on my own experiences of living in a tiny home that I designed and built myself. I’ve taught hundreds of students how to make their own tiny homes.

A: I designed this course to keep you engaged and awake! My live calls don’t feel like stuffy university lectures. They feel more like a casual get-together with friends. I crack jokes, ask open questions to the group, use visuals in my lectures, and give you hands-on assignments.

A: Yes! You have the option of paying in 3 equal monthly payments. Proceed to the next page to pick the payment option that best suits you.

A: The biggest thing that makes ASA unique is how deep we go into finding the right property. Most courses in the permaculture, homesteading & off-grid realm skip this step or don’t go deep enough. Choosing the wrong property can be disastrous, which is why I spend so much time on helping you find the right property.

Apart from that, my permaculture course doesn’t just cover permaculture. I teach a lot of skills that permaculture enthusiasts need to thrive: off-grid living, efficient energy, waste management, water management, and more.

A: Yes! If you complete the assignments & the final project, you’ll get a printer-friendly certificate of completion signed by me at the end of the 12 weeks.
