A: I’ve taken 5 years of university to become a certified teacher for the school system. After teaching for 2 years, I quit to do a Permaculture internship in Australia under Geoff Lawton, a heavyweight in the permaculture world (and HE studied under Bill Mollison, the guy who started permaculture!). In the following 4 years I got certified as a Permaculture Teacher under the Permaculture Research Institute, started a permaculture school in Barbados,  and helped build 6 homes. I’ve since done 150+ consultations and designs for private clients and government bodies, and mentored over 1600 students. When it comes to off-grid living, I draw on my own experiences of living in a tiny home that I designed and built myself. I have students around the world who have built their own homes, created inspiring landscapes, and even gone on to become designers and teachers. I even started a Youtube Channel where we built and gave away a tiny house for free.

I crack jokes, use a special software called Prezi to make engaging visuals, and give you hands-on assignments.
